It is recommended that we eat 2 1/2 cups of fruits and vegetables everyday!
That can be hard to do, especially in the winter when all my favorite fruits and veggies are no where to be found!

Take fruit with you on the go. Apples, bananas and oranges, or clementines are easy to carry around!

Toss some veggies in those smoothies
Vegetable soups. Or just add more vegetables to soups than the recipe calls for.
Be a little bit more generous when putting vegetables on things like sandwiches, tacos, hamburgers. Pile on the veggies!

Try to make half of your plate at dinner time be filled with fruits and vegetables.
Shop the rainbow. (Fun fact: Different colors have vegetables have different nutrients and amino acids)
